The Liberal Left Assault on Our Democracy

 We have now seen two members of the National Guard shot with one of them dying and the other one clinging to life.  Ironically, DC Mayor Bowser (it happened in her city), has now embraced the guard in helping to reduce crime. This was a definite targeted attack.  How many have heard that a ARNG Major with a pocket knife was the first to come to the defense of the two soldiers?

The liberal left is slowly bent on destroying this country, and moving to a socialist/Marxist state.

They are the ones who have falsely accused Trump of wanting to destroy our country.  And what has happened?  Their nut job minions have physically attacked ICE and local PD.  They attack those who disagree with them on campuses from speaking.  They destroy notices of lectures by those who disagree with them.  And yet they talk and pontificate that Trump and Conservatives are against free speech.  I call bull$hit.  The liberal left works to shut down anyone who disagrees with them.

Soft on crime prosecutors, backed by liberal money and media allow criminals to go back on the streets and commit new crimes.  Illegal aliens, with criminal records, here and in their home countries are allowed to prey on our citizenry.  And yet, the liberal left encourages their minions to attack the very persons who are attempting to enforce the laws that would remove these individuals from the USA.

These liberal whack jobs are in favor of men who "identify" as female to participate in women's sports.  A coalition of 130 congressional Democrats filed an amicus brief to the Supreme Court urging it to rule in favor of two trans athletes in forthcoming cases over the protection of women's sports and national enforcement of Title IX.  And yes, our Congresswoman, Sharice Davids was one of the 130 who signed this brief.  Do you really want your daughters, sisters, wives, girlfriends to have to compete against biological men?  Do you want them to be forced to share locker rooms and bathrooms with them also?

The final rant for today will be about the video that 6 members of congress and the intelligence community recently put out urging service members to refuse illegal orders.  They don't give a hoot and a holler for the average service member, enlisted or officer.  That is very thin ground that they are treading on.

The liberal left is so caught up with TDS that they cannot see the positives that this administration is bringing to the table.  Can you imagine what would have happened if conservatives had acted the same way when Biden or Obama was in office. Methinks I should develop DDS (Democrat Derangement Syndrome) as a counter to those on the left that also suffer from Crarec Syndrome in addition to TDS.

The Liberal Left - Protectors of Criminals

 What criminals are they protecting?  Specifically, illegal immigrants, and more specifically those who have a history of other criminal activities.

Getting a little tired seeing these left wing anarchists attacking ICE, Border Patrol, the military and local law enforcement.  

First, illegal immigrants are criminals.  If a person enters this country through other than the legal methods they have committed a crime.  Now what about those that do have other crime sin their backgrounds?  Talking about child molesters, folks who have committed battery on others including domestic violence, murder, theft......need I go on?

Why does the liberal left want to protect these folks?  Do they really want them in their neighborhoods?  Heck no, just remember what happened when Texas shipped a bunch up to Martha's Vineyard.  They were pretty quick to get LEO and the Guard involved to relocate them.

Oh, arresting these criminals is bad because it separates and breaks up families.  What a crock of s**t that statement is.  Any time someone is arrested it separates them from their family.  Why isn't the liberal left screaming not to arrest those folks that are arrested and are citizens?  Hypocritical trash, that is why.  There was even a protest about a gentleman (term used politely) who was arrested after a traffic stop and separated from his child.  Heck, that happens every day.  If you have a child in your car and get arrested you will be separated from that child.  Social services will be brought in and hopefully a close relative will be found to take custody of the child.

Donald Trump was very open about what he wanted to do about the illegal immigration problem.  He didn't hide it, and he was elected to handle it.  Bit, the liberal left is so stuck with TDS that they can't understand that.  BTW, how many of these protesters are illegal immigrants themselves?  How many are hired hands?  Yep, there are companies that will provide crowds for demonstrations.  

Anyone who assaults or attempts to cause bodily harm to a member of law enforcement (any level, fed, state, local), should, if found guilty, be punished by receiving the maximum penalty for the offense.  That includes attempted and actual murder.

Final thought:  Some of these protesters carry banners and/or flags representative of other countries.  If those other countries are so great, why the f*$k did they come here?

Veteran's Day 2025

What is a vet?

He is the cop on the beat who spent six months in Saudi Arabia sweating two gallons a day making sure the armored personnel carriers didn't run out of fuel.

He is the parade riding Legionnaire who pins on his ribbons and medals with a prosthetic hand.

He is the career quartermaster who watches the ribbons and medals pass him by.

He is the three anonymous heroes in The Tomb of the Unknowns, whose presence at the Arlington National Cemetery must forever preserve the memory of all the anonymous heroes whose valor dies unrecognized with them on the battlefield or in the ocean's sunless deep.

He is the old guy bagging groceries at the supermarket-palsied now and aggravatingly slows who helped liberate a Nazi death camp and who wishes all day long that his wife were still alive to hold him when the nightmares come.

He is an ordinary and yet an extraordinary human being, a person who offered some of his life's most vital years in the service of his country, and who sacrificed his ambitions so others would not have to sacrifice theirs.

He is a soldier and a savior and a sword against the darkness, and he is nothing more than the finest, greatest testimony on behalf of the finest, greatest nation ever known.

So remember, each time you see someone who has served our country, just lean over and say "THANK YOU."  That's all most people need, and in most cases it will mean more than any medals they could have been awarded or were awarded.

Two little words mean a lot, "THANK YOU."

Local Election Results 2025

 First, congratulations are in order to those who were elected to the Shawnee City Council.

Second, sympathies go out to the citizens of Shawnee.  When you start seeing mill levy increases, coupled with rising home values, please, if you voted for these tax and spend liberals, don't complain.  When you see funds expended for incentives for questionable development projects, and if you voted for these tax and spend liberals, don't complain.  Same for any far left social programs.

For those who sat home and didn't vote because it was "only the city council, but I vote in the gubernatorial and presidential elections", you too need not complain when the above happens.

Good luck Shawnee, you'll need it.

Distler Is the Last Person to Question Anyone's Integrity

 I was sent the information that former mayor Michelle Distler had this critical comment concerning the four candidates that have the support of various elements of the Republican party. Apparently she didn't like a mailer that went out on their behalf.

She reportedly said that all other candidates had run their campaigns with honesty and integrity.

She is the last person to question anyone's honesty and integrity.  Why?  Simple.  She is the only Shawnee mayor who was ever arrested and charged with a felony.  The result of that was that she got diversion.  That's where you perform some form of punishment (usually community service) and if it is completed successfully the charges are dropped.  Lucky for her, because in Kansas a sitting mayor if convicted of a felony is, by statute, removed from office.  The court ordered diversion stipulated that none of the community service could be related to her position as mayor, and that she could not use the community service to further her political ambitions. As an example, she couldn't say "golly gee I even picked up trash along K-7 to help clean up Shawnee", or whatever her punishment was. Here's the rest of the story.  Not only was she charged with a felony, but she never apologized publicly to the city council, the people of Shawnee, or the person whose name she illegally used.  The only apology was the standard cop out by her lawyer.  But never anything from her own mouth.

It takes chutzpah for an individual like her to question anyone else's honesty and integrity,  If ya read the affidavit for the arrest warrant you'd see how many different stories she gave the investigator.

PS......was Morgan Rainey referring to Dave Myres as a racist and classist honest and did it show integrity.  I'd bet her grandfather is rolling over in his grave..

Say NO to the "Say Yes" Slate

 The "Say Yes" group is the remnant of the force that was pushing Shawnee a few years back to waste taxpayer dollars on a community center.  This included burying deep down in various reports the true costs to the community. What happened?  The citizens of Shawnee did not fall for the garbage that was being thrown at them and that item was defeated at a citywide election 72% to 28%.

The "Say Yes" group with their liberal, tax and spend, social justice ideology is a threat to the city and beyond. City council positions become the training ground for far left candidates.  It may start on the coasts, but it can and does work its way into the middle of our country.

To maintain a city government that will truly work for the citizens of Shawnee and not a bunch of far left idealogues, please do not vote for the "Say Yes" slate.

The Hullaballoo About The Fed Shutdown and the Continuing Resolution

 OK, here we go.

In speaking with folks it appears to be that many do not understand what a continuing resolution is all about.

A CR as it is referred to is a temporary extension of the most recent budget. No more no less.  During the Biden admin there were a total of 13 CRs.  All other pluses and minuses are hammered out in the negotiations for the NEW full budget.  Sometimes, more than one CR is needed to keep the government going, while discussions for the NEW full budget are ongoing.

What the dumba$$ Democrats are doing is trying to add stuff to the CR.  That is not the vehicle for that.  The CR is supposed to be "clean", just like all previous CRs.  But, they do allow for operations to continue, employees to get paid, and items like SNAP funding to continue.

Let me take it a step further:

Wife gives husband $50/week to use for lunch.  Hubby says he needs $75.  Wife says OK, let's make that a CR at $50 for the next four weeks and we will sit down and discuss the family's budget and see if we can do it a higher amount.  EZ PeeZee

Treat or Trick - Shawnee Election Day - Tuesday, Nov.4th 2025

Let's keep it simple:

If you want to treat yourself to good government in Shawnee and want to have councilmembers who will truly look out for the citizens of Shawnee then vote for the these candidates.  They will be the ones who will push to reduce taxes, control spending, monitor tax payer incentives and really insure that needed services are properly funded.

The Garbage Behind the No Kings Movement

 Liz Peek recently wrote an article that really shows how utterly dumb the No Kings movement really is.

LIZ PEEK: Democrat fury fuels 'No Kings' protests but endgame is elusive

Millions of Americans turned out across the country last Saturday for the "No Kings" rallies, protesting, according to The New York Times, a president that the crowds view as "acting like a monarch."

The success of the protests, however, denies their case. A monarch would have attempted to disperse the crowds or put important meeting sites off-limits. A monarch would not have gone about conducting the business of state while people dressed in goofy costumes, banged drums and hurled vile insults at his head.  A monarch… would not have been elected by a majority of the nation.

The crowd size should impress no one. The protests were driven by labor unions like the American Federation of Teachers, which claims almost 3 million members, and the AFL-CIO, which claims 15 million.  

Fair-minded Americans should wonder what exactly are the Trump White House policies that have people so riled up?

Are Americans angry that President Donald Trump has taken on the drug cartels which have flooded our nation with fentanyl and other deadly substances that have killed hundreds of thousands of our young people?

Are Americans protesting the securing of our southern border, no longer allowing millions of undocumented people to illegally crowd our cities’ schools and hospital emergency rooms?

Do voters oppose shrinking the size of our federal bureaucracy, attempting to bring the outlandish spending engineered by President Joe Biden under control?

Is it Trump’s efforts to turn our education establishment on its head, demanding better performance for the Black and brown kids who are not being taught to read?

And what about crime? Are most Americans unhappy that the president is trying to bring our dangerous cities, like Chicago, under control?

The answer to all these questions is no. Polling shows most Americans agree with the tough policies that President Trump has adopted on crime, immigration and trimming the federal government. Most of the country, in addition, is thrilled that the Trump White House has negotiated a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas, however fragile, and brought the hostages home.  It is hard to find anyone who was unhappy that the president commanded the destruction of Iran’s nuclear program.

What has really riled Democrats is that we have a president willing, even eager, to expose the pervasive corruption and dishonesty of their party. 

President Trump, along with Elon Musk, revealed the complex of tax-payer-supported NGOs that support Democrat candidates and causes; NGOs, described by Musk as "fake charities," funded by the very billionaires whom Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., rails against. 

Billionaires like those who supposedly threw millions of dollars into promoting the "No Kings" rallies, like The Arabella Network, the Soros network, the Tides Foundation and many others. The Trump White House is also delving into the swamp, disclosing the political origins of the Russiagate hoax, the efforts of the Biden administration and media pals to censor the opposition, and Biden’s diversion of government spending to favored left-wing allies. 

Biden assigned long-time Clinton apparatchik John Podesta to distribute hundreds of billions of dollars included in the Inflation Reduction Act that was meant to fund climate initiatives. Trump’s EPA head Lee Zeldin exposed the "Biden Administration’s scheme to quickly park $20 billion outside the agency…we suspected that some organizations were created out of thin air just to take advantage of this." Yes, like a group affiliated with left-wing political activist and serial election loser Stacey Abrams.

Democrats are also angry that President Trump won re-election in spite of an all-out legal assault meant to make him unelectable. They are also angry that, in spite of Vice President Kamala Harris enjoying a war chest of well over a billion dollars, Democrats were not only denied the Oval Office but also both houses of Congress. It is an election outcome that has allowed the GOP to investigate the malfeasance of people like former FBI Director James Comey, who was up to his neck in the Russiagate affair.

Democrat leaders like Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., are furious that their party is on the ropes, increasingly directed by far-left candidates who do not reflect America’s values. They know that Trump currently occupies the middle of the policy spectrum. He is winning on issues like opposing transgender people competing in women’s sports and on banning DEI, which is unpopular.

In Michigan, local "No Kings" organizers claimed they were objecting to sending immigration agents into cities, pushing for the redrawing of congressional maps to favor Republicans and "gutting health care." To be sure, the aggressive rounding up of people in the country illegally is controversial. But, sending National Guard to protect federal property and law enforcement officials should not be. Meanwhile, the only thing new about the redistricting battles is that the GOP has wised up and is finally countering long-time gerrymandering by Democrats. As far as "gutting health care," that is an issue before Congress, not the Trump White House.   

Some question the legality of Trump’s attacks on alleged drug runners from Venezuela, or to impose tariffs on our trading partners. His critics should be calmed by the intervention of the judiciary. Most of us have lost track of the number of lawsuits wending their way to the Supreme Court. It’s not very king-like to have to answer to judges.

Asked about the "No Kings" rallies, the president said, "I’m not a king, I work my a-- off to make our country great." 

And that is what is making Democrats crazy.

My comments:  Look what the Democrats are doing to this country with their refusal to pass the Continuing resolution that would have kept the government open. A CR is an extension of the most current budget.  Trump wanted a "clean" CR, just like the 13 CRs that were passed during the Biden administration with bipartisan support.  The Democrats wanted to clutter the CR with items that should be debated for the "regular" budget, not a CR. On top of all this, the Democrats House Minority Leader, Hakeem Jeffries has just endorsed that super communist, Zohran Mamdani for NYC mayor.  The Dems have been taken over by far left socialists and communists that are the real threats to our democracy.  And folks, the training ground for that IS local elections (city councils, school boards, etc.)

Ward II Shawnee City Council - Dr. Mike Kemmling Yes - Eric Persson No

 Dr. Mike Kemmling has proven to be a true advocate for the people of his ward and the city.  A strong supporter of reducing taxes, monitoring corporate incentives and making life better for the citizens of Shawnee.

As a small business owner and a family man (he and his wife Chris have 5 children), Mike knows what it takes to survive in this world.  And it doesn't include raising taxes, as his opponent is backed by a political party that pushes raising taxes at every possible opportunity.  Keep in mind that with Mike on the council, the city has seen two years of tax reductions, two years of holding the line and a reserve account that far exceeds the recommended guidelines.  Mike is also a firm believer in taking the moral high ground and standing up for traditional values.

I've gotta laugh that his opponent is touting the endorsement of Mickey "The Mouse" Sandifer and Jeff "Mr. Nepotism" Meyers, with their claims that it is a non-partisan endorsement.  They forget that Eric Persson is being pushed by the Democratic party, and both of them rally behind other Democratic party candidates.

Ward IV Shawnee Council - Laurel Stiffler - Yes, Erin Aldridge -No

 The choice to replace outgoing Council Member Jacklynn Walters should, IMHO, be pretty obvious.  Laurel Stiffler has both the intelligence and common sense to continue to pursue goals that would be beneficial to the residents of not just Ward IV but, as a council member, the entire city of Shawnee.  She will pursue appropriate tax reductions, especially since Shawnee has been able to maintain an above recommended level of financial reserves.  She will insure that any incentives for development are not only equitable for the developer but also for the citizens of Shawnee.  Why?  Because she will be an advocate for the citizens, not the government of Shawnee.

We do not need a council member for Ward IV like Erin Aldridge.  An individual who is a member of a political party that has a history of tax and spend at all levels of government, to the detriment of the citizens of the governed entity.

If you live in Ward IV and you truly want dedicated representation on your city council then Laurel Stiffler deserves your vote.

Don't Let Steele Reynolds Get Away With Bovine Scatology

 OK, in a recent social media post Reynolds, who is running in Ward 1 for city council in Shawnee claimed that the council had reduced taxes 3 years in a row.  He also claimed that that action would hurt the city going forward with regards to infrastructure.

First the city reduced taxes twice and kept them flat for two years.  But most importantly, that will not have a negative effect on the future as the city's reserve fund is almost twice what the recommended amount is.

That's right.  We have an over abundance of reserves.  Now, that's good.  But here is the other good news.  With property values increasing, and more homes being built, what's wrong with reducing taxes?  Not a damn thing.  The money is still coming in as evidenced by the reserve fund.  So why not give the citizens of Shawnee a break?  It also would ,make Shawnee a more attractive place to move to.  Including apartments.  Why apartments?  Because even though apartment renters don't have tax receipts, their landlords include the property taxes as part of their rent.  Duhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!  Problem is, candidates affiliated with the Democrats think all there is to governing a city (or county, or state, or the country) is to constantly raise taxes by feeding the populace a bunch of bovine scatology.

OK folks.  If ya want to keep Shawnee rolling in the right direction, then, in Ward 1 vote to re-elect Tony Gillette, as your council member.

Dave Myres Yes, Morgan Rainey No, in Ward III

 Well, now here is an interesting bit of news.  Former Ward III Council Member Jeff Vaught has come out in support of Morgan Rainey for that position in this upcoming election.

His support of a candidate is a definite reason NOT to vote for that person.

Let's have a history lesson.  In 2015 Jeff Vaught filed, along with three other candidates, to run for mayor.  With four candidates filed that meant that a primary was needed to whittle it down to two.  Well, Jeff Vaught was not one of the two top folks.  He did not even get a majority of the votes in his own ward, Ward III.  Guess the voters in that ward finally realized what kind of a person he was.

Now, fast forward to 2017, when his council seat was up for grabs.  Three people, including Vaught filed.  Guess what?  He came in third, which eliminated him from being on the ballot for that seat.  He was going to be done serving on the council.  Wow, guess that the voters of Ward III really felt that they did not want him around anymore.  That was two elections that he failed to be successful in, while being an elected official in that ward.

So, the point is, if she (Morgan Rainey) gets his support, then one can surmise that they most likely think alike.  Hmmmm, but the voters in Ward III have previously rejected his thinking, so one would think that they should probably reject her too.

As such, the election of Dave Myres to represent Ward III could prove to be very positive for the residents of that ward.

Beware of the Hypocrites In Training

 OK, we all know how the Democrats have been accusing Republicans, especially Trump of wanting to destroy our democracy.

Here's the latest.  You Tube, owned by Alphabet has just settled for $24.5 Million in Trump's lawsuit over his being censored.  You can read it here. They now join Meta and X (formerly Twitter) in settlements.  One of the keys here is the admission that those companies were pressured by the Biden admin to censor Trump.

It all starts at the local level (city councils, education boards, county commissions).  That is why if you vote for Democrats in local elections, IMHO, you are voting for HITs (Hypocrites in Training).  It is the Democrats who have been supporting various policies that are working to the detriment of our country.  Policies like open borders, allowing biological males to compete in women's sports (and share locker rooms with the females), spending taxpayer money to actually support illegal aliens with everything from housing to medical care.  Note that one of the reasons the federal government might close down is the Democrats wanting to continue federal support of medical care for illegal aliens.  But, they claim that Republicans would destroy medical care.  Heck, that money they want to spend could go to supporting our taxpaying citizens (and legal foreign residents), who need assistance.

Even though local elections are classified as non-partisan, all that means is that party affiliations are not shown on the ballot.  Don't believe me?  Just go to the JoCo Democratic Party web site to view the info.  Voting for any of these four: Steele Reynolds (Ward 1), Eric Persson (Ward 2), Morgan Rainey (Ward 3), Erin Aldridge (Ward 4), is, IMHO, a vote for a HIT.

If you truly believe in maintaining our democracy, then these are the candidates who will follow that path:  Tony Gillette (Ward 1), Mike Kemmling (Ward 2), Dave Myres (Ward 3), Laurel Stiffler (Ward 4).

RIP Charlie Kirk

 Condolences to the Kirk family and to our country.  This man was the embodiment of a champion for free speech.  His immediate family has lost a husband and father.  We, as a country have lost a patriot.

And today is the 24th anniversary of the terrible events of 9/11/2001.  May those souls also RIP, the ones who perished at the hands of the terrorists and those that perished responding to attempt to save them.

Steele Did File His SOSI - JoCo Election Failed to Post to the Web Site

 I've been questioning why the JoCo Election web site did not show a Statement of Substantial Interest for Steele Reynolds, running for city council.

The Government  Ethics folks referred me to the JoCo Election Office.

I received the following information today from Diane Burnett, Assistant Election Commissioner:

Thank you for reaching out about this.  We did receive it on June 11^th, but we missed adding it to the website.  We will get that done soon.

So, I guess that he did comply with Kansas election laws.  Curious though. Since it was not showing up all this time on the JoCo Election site, which made it look like he was in violation, why he himself didn't question it not appearing.  Oh well.

 

Who NOT to Vote For in this Election, Nov. 4, 2025

 Let's start this post out with a comparison.  Let's compare local elections/national elections compared to HS football/the NFL.

Huh?  You may ask.  Actually it is very simple.  Just like HS football trains athletes to go on to college level sports and then professional sports, local elections are the training grounds for politicians to move on up.

 The Steele Dossier which was used as "evidence" to impeach President Trump has now long been proven to be a fake, paid for by the Hillary campaign and the DNC.  Now it is becoming evident that many senior Democrats and members of the deep state knew it was a phony and still allowed it to be used.  So, which party and its leaders are the real threat to democracy.

Which party tried to claim that the Covid-19 virus was not created in a Chinese lab?  Whooops, looks like it was, and more evidence is coming out to that effect.  Which political party pushed for various quarantining acts that have actually pushed education back years in this country?  How about closing businesses, forcing many into poverty.

Which political party allowed our country to be overrun with illegal immigrants, many who are criminals?  Which political party wants illegal immigrants to be counted for congressional representation?  Which political party wants illegal immigrants to be able to vote in our elections? Which political party wants to spend and has spent billions of dollars to house, clothe, feed and provide medical care to illegal immigrants, while we have citizens of our country, including veterans who have fought for this country, living in dire straits.

Which political party has been at the forefront to declare cities and states as sanctuary entities to provide cover for illegal immigrants?  

Which political party has initiated actions to allow transgender athletes (biological males) to participate in women's sports?  And, allowing these same individuals to utilize women's private spaces (bathrooms, showers, locker rooms, etc.)!  How would these female candidates feel if a biological male showed up in their bathroom/shower/locker room?  Would they feel comfortable?  What about their own daughters?  How would these male candidates feel if that happened to their wives/mothers/daughters?

It all starts with local elections.  City councils, county commissions, school boards, etc.  These are the training grounds.  Our country is finally turning around.  Inflation is coming down.  Criminals are being sent back to their home countries.  More and more companies are making investments in our country.  Our allies are now contributing more to their own defense.  Even the Chair of the Federal Reserve is now back tracking and saying that the tariffs are not creating inflation and that interest rates will come down.  Even gas at the pump this Labor Day is the lowest in many years.

If you want to preserve our country, it starts at the local level.  

Sidebar:  One of the candidates for Shawnee City Council, Steele Reynolds, has still not filed his Statement of Substantial Interests according to the JoCo Election web site as of this morning  See my post of 7/27/25.  This is to show where a candidate and their spouse derive their income.  So as to avoid conflicts of interest.  That is why it is a Class B misdemeanor for not filing.  Will the state ethics commission take action?  BTW, he has not responded to an inquiry from me about this.  Arrogance abounds with Dem party candidates.  What is he hiding?

Steele Reynolds - Candidate for Ward 1 - What Is He Hiding?

Steele Reynolds is running for Ward 1 City Council in Shawnee.

His web site has the following statement: "As a parent, business owner, and neighbor, Steele understands the importance of smart growth, safe neighborhoods, and transparent leadership."

Hmmm, transparent leadership?  Then why has he failed to file his "Statement of Substantial Interest" form?  A form that was required to be filed by 6/10/25. As of this Friday, 7/275/25 it still was not showing on the JoCo Election web site.  This is a very important form as it requires candidates and their spouses, to indicate their sources of income, and certain investments.  Sources only, no dollar amounts are required.  The intent of the form is to bring out any possible conflicts of interest between income sources, investments, and actions that one may take as an elected official.  Note that failure to submit the form is a class B misdemeanor.

So, why is he being hypocritical about touting transparency.

Clinton/Biden Staffer Applauds Trump, Derides Kamala Harris

A former Clinton-era National Security Council staffer broke with his party and heaped praise on President Donald Trump's successful strikes on Iran over the weekend, while remarking former Vice President Kamala Harris would have likely lacked the "courage" to execute such a mission if she were commander-in-chief. 

"I am not a fan of many of Donald Trump‘s actions, but I will speak openly and honestly when he takes bold steps defending America’s interests, as he did tonight," Jamie Metzl, founder of the international social group One Shared World, posted to X on Saturday evening. 

Metzl served on former President Bill Clinton's National Security Counci and was former President Joe Biden's deputy staff director of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, and he heaped praise on Trump repeatedly on X over the weekend, while also taking a shot at Harris' lack of "courage and fortitude." 

"But I’m not a blind tribalist and am perfectly comfortable praising President Trump for bold and courageous actions in support of America’s core national interests, as he took last night," Metzl posted to X on Sunday morning. 

"Although I believe electing Kamala Harris would have been better for our democracy, society, and economy, as well as for helping the most vulnerable people in the United States and around the world, I also believe VP Harris would not have had the courage or fortitude to take such an essential step as the president took last night," he added. The Hypocrisy of the Democrats is Nauseating

 OK, there are various Dems that are starting to call for impeachment because of the attack that President Trump launched on Iran's nuclear facilities.

But, these same folks did not say anything when Clinton and Obama did exactly the same thing, or when Hillary Clinton supported those types of actions.

Obama & Biden Sucked Us Into This

 President Trump made a firm decision, showed intestinal fortitude, and sent the "bunker busters" into destroy Iran's nuclear capability.

So, why do I say that Obama and Biden sucked us into this?

It's easy, those two are just about reincarnations of Neville Chamberlain.  If you don't know who he was do a "Google" on him.  His appeasement of the Axis powers was met with jubilation, until the world realized that you cannot appease villains. (edited to correct typo, the word is cannot).

Well, that is what Obama and Biden did.  Oh, according to them, Iran was only going to use nuclear power for peaceful means.  Heck, they even signed an agreement to that effect.  Oh, and they were going to allow inspections.

Well, guess what.  They were on the road to creating a nuclear weapon.  They did not permit the inspections that were supposed to be in depth.  

Trump, in his first term slapped sanctions on Iran, and held back billions of dollars.  Well dear old Joe Biden (or one of his lackeys) released tons of money to Iran.  How do you think Iran got the funds to pursue their nuclear program?  Villains do NOT respect appeasers and those without intestinal fortitude.  They only recognize strength.

Of course, those suffering from TDS will jump all over Trump.  He did what he had to.

Will the people of Iran rise up and toss out the ruling theocracy?  Will Israel bring Iran to its knees.  Will the Ayatollah head for another country to seek sanctuary?

Time will tell.

Did ya see the members of those two groups in their "No Kings" protests on Saturday?  Those who accuse DJT of being an authoritarian?  Those who try to equate MAGA with fascism?

Gotta laugh at the dumb asses and hypocrites.  All that garbage was supported by the political party that anointed a presidential candidate without a vote.  

The power elite must have thought, "How can anyone complain?"  "We're anointing a woman of color!"  Didn't matter that she was probably one of the least qualified to have that position.  Yepper, I'll say it, she was a DEI choice, not an MEI (merit, excellence, intelligence) choice.  Remember her famous comment when asked if she could have, what would she have done differently than Biden?  Her answer:  nothing different.

But then anointing a candidate for the highest office in the land is not authoritarian.  It is not regal. It is not contrary to democratic principles.  Bull$hit.  It is all that.  

The true anti-Americans were on display at those No Kings protests.  And a charter member of HAD has to be Shawnee Ward 2 Councilmember Jeani Quick Murphy who posted support on Facebook for thhose actions.

The Idiots Among Us

Yes, we have idiots among us.  Yesterday was June 14th.  The 250th anniversary of the US Army and there were some folks that thought it was a good idea to go around and protest "no kings".

Let's give those a$$holes a history lesson.  It was June 14th, 1775 that the Continental Army was formed.  I don't think that there was an 18th century Nostradamus who predicted that that army would still be around in 250 years. Or, that the Congress would pass a law and a president would sign it, with a real pen, designating June 14th as a national holiday, Flag Day.  And I don't think there was an oracle back then who predicted that June 14th would also be the birthday of a gentleman by the name of Donald Trump, and that he would become President of the United States.

So what these a$$holes did was to insult the oldest branch of our armed forces, that has all these years fought to preserve and protect their right to peacefully protest (not like the BS in LA and Minneapolis).  Instead of protesting they should have been out there showing respect for the US Army, its current members and all who have gone before them.  And then we get a real dummy, Shawnee Ward 2 Councilmember Jeani Quick Murphy who supports their protests yesterday.  Don't believe me?  All you have to do is click here.  Then scroll down and you'll see her comment supporting that activity.

I watched that parade on TV.  And, I was proud to have served in the US Army for 4 years including a year in Nam.  No, not a combat hero, just one of millions of men and women who served this country for 250 years and continue to serve to this day, and who will continue to serve unless the progressive leftists f&*k things up more than they did the past four years.

The Fertilizer is Hitting the Ventilator

 Everyday, more and more is coming out about how the cover up was in full force regarding Joe Biden's cognitive decline.

Let's use the KISS theory. Jake Tapper and Alex Thompson have recently released a book which details all the shenanigans, cover ups and BS in the Biden administration.  Thompson, who recently received an award from the White House Correspondents Association was very straight in his criticism of himself and his fellow "journalists" for their participation in the cover up of Biden's declining mental acuity.

Tapper has publicly apologized to Lara Trump for his comments from before the 2020 election that her analysis of Biden was fake news.  Whoops, now various members of the legacy media are also backtracking and admitting they did a poor job and that there were all the signs that he was declining.  Even Democratic party officials are now admitting it.

OK folks, who had their finger on the button?  Who signed all those executive orders, pardons, etc.?  With the autopen?  Why did Biden not even recognize George Clooney, a friend for about 15 years at a fund raiser that Clooney threw for him?  Why did Biden need a teleprompter at a private fund raiser?

Now we have money coming from Democratic organizations to fund these "spontaneous" "peaceful" protests in LA and other locations.  Bull shit!!!  They are not spontaneous.  They are not peaceful.  They are well organized, professionally scripted actions.  

The threat to democracy in this country is NOT Donald Trump.  The threat to democracy is the progressive element of the Democratic party.  Those who conspired to use Joe Biden as a frail old man, who didn't know his ass from his elbow to push their socialist, Marxist agenda.  To help in flooding this country with over 12 million illegal immigrants, many with criminal backgrounds.  The ones who orchestrated Biden's release of funds to Iran so that Iran could continue its nuclear build up.  Thank G-d Israel is taking care of that situation.

Here's the kicker.  This garbage with democrats all starts at the local level.  They push to get their America hating candidates into office at city councils, school boards, county commissions, etc.  Then they work to move them up the ladder.

So, even if a local election is non-partisan, there are folks that are affiliated with both major parties.  These folks quite possibly will get financial support from these major parties.  I will make it my goal to expose those democratic party candidates who would destroy our city, county and state.  Every pimple on their butt, wart on their nose, will be held up for the public to see.

Soon we will see that with some questionnaires that I will be working on.

I know, I've been quiet for quite some time.  Health and age are catching up to me, but I have had it with those slimey POS, that would destroy this country.  There truly are legal, non-violent ways to handle them, and that is what I will pursue.

The HAD Group is Showing Their True Colors

 Regarding my previous post, HAD stands for Hypocrites Against Democracy.

These are the folks who kept screaming that Trump would destroy democracy in this country.

Now, let's look at recent events.  We see individuals physically attacking Tesla dealerships with firebombs and bullets.  We see destruction of those vehicles.  We see and hear various Democratic party elected persons refrain from condemning these acts of violence but in many cases egging them on.  We see and hear many of these folks actively encouraging violence against elected and appointed Republican members of the government.

This is not democracy to perform these acts.  These activities are definitely threats to our democracy.  These are the actions of sore losers.  Yes, sore losers.  They cannot accept the fact that the American people got fed up with the lies and BS that they have been tossing around.  They cannot accept the fact that the American people were sick and tired of inflation, border insecurity and various left win programs like defund the police, DEI, the teaching of CRT, etc.  They cannot accept the fact that they had large numbers of ethnic minorities switch sides because they were tired of being pandered to by a group that was acting like a bunch of benevolent parents (do what we say and we'll take care of you).

Speaking of lies that the Democrats have fostered on the American public, every day more info is coming out on how they, with the complicity of the mainstream media covered up Joe Biden's mental decline.  Many members of that media are now admitting they should have been more forthright about what was happening.

Here is a classic example on how the two groups differ on how to handle items that they disagree with.  This is a statement attributed to Rep. Adamson McDowell (R-NC): 

"when we boycotted Bud Light over their support over these radical issues, we didn’t just say, ‘We’re going to burn down Bud Light manufacturers.’ We just didn’t buy it." "What you see these woke, radical liberals doing to a car they used to want championed, is lighting them on fire, destroying property, that’s not how adults behave," McDowell said, adding, "they’re behaving like criminals."

Going forward, if an individual runs for office, and if they are a democrat, or have accepted funds from various democratic party organizations, even if the race is a non-partisan one, I will do anything and everything I can legally do to expose every wart on their nose, every pimple on their butt, and every action that is hypocritical.

Two New Organizations - DASA & HAD

 I've been too quiet for too long.

It's time to announce the formation of two new organizations:

DASA-Dumb Ass Society of America

HAD-Hypocrites Against Democracy

Let's start with DASA:  For the various members of Congress who have railed against Elon Musk as being an unelected billionaire, doing what he has been doing.  It is obvious that they do not understand the difference between the USC and the CFR.  As a matter of fact I'd bet that most Americans also don't know the difference.  The USC (United States Code) are the bills passed by Congress and signed into law by a President.  The CFR (Code of Federal Regulations) are all of those regulations that have been promulgated by entrenched, career bureaucrats, who BTW are also unelected individuals.  Not necessarily billionaires, but still unelected.  These are the folks that have come up with the regulations, among many others, that look to control what kitchen appliances you can buy.  Some regulations serve a positive function, such as the frequency and extent of physical examinations for airline pilots.  Others are a bunch of nonsense, costly to the American public and businesses.

Moving on to HAD:  These are mostly the whining, crying, Democrats.  Many of which are senior members of the US Senate and House of Representatives.  These are the folks who have for years bemoaned the use of violence to achieve political goals.  Yet, these are the same folks who have not spoken up to condemn the outrageous criminal acts (many of which are life threatening) that are being perpetrated against Tesla owners, dealerships, etc.  Setting vehicles on fire, shooting at the windows of car dealerships are NOT acts of democracy.  I've said it before, and I'll say it again, the greatest threats to our democracy are these hypocritical Democrats.  Anybody wanna talk about the use of the "auto-pen" to sign Joe Biden's name to official documents?  Who had been running the government during his inept, mentally challenged years?  Yes, during the same years that these folks were covering up for his inability to function in a coherent manner.  These are the hypocrites who are the real threat to democracy as we know it.  The same folks that are doxing Tesla vehicle owners.  Or folks like US Congresswoman Crockett who has put out the call to take violent action against Elon Musk.

BTW, our Mayor, Mickey "The Mouse" Sandifer should be a charter member of HAD.  Especially when he said he doesn't have to answer to a citizen of Shawnee. (it's in the minutes of a council meeting).

This Ain't Snow

 That's what my son and daughter-in-law said about what we are experiencing today.

They came in last night from Sault Ste-Marie, Michigan (about 1-1/2 miles from Sault Ste-Marie, Ontario, Canada).

By the end of January they had 136.5 inches for the winter so far, and just before they left "The Soo" the number had gone well over 159.8.

According to them, schools were only closed one day because of freezing rain.  Snow does not stop the kids from getting an education.

When they left there they still had over 3 feet of snow piled in their yard.  The picture below is of a snowbank near their house.  Look at how high the snow is up the pole for the yield sign.

History In The Making - Chiefs vs Eagles - Super Bowl LIX

 

The world is watching.  Having won two Super Bowls in a row the KC Chiefs are playing tomorrow for an unprecedented threepeat.  The fact that they are playing tomorrow is, in and of itself historical.  No other team has ever had the chance to even try to threepeat.  If they win it, that will just add to the historical aspect of the event.

Thousands of eyes will be on Mahomes, Hurts, Kelce, Barkley and many other excellent players on both sides of the line of scrimmage.

I have just two questions;  First, what strange, different and never before seen plays will Andy Reid have conjured up in his book of magic to completely confuse the Eagles?  Second, what different and never before seen plays will Steve Spagnuolo have drawn up to stop the Eagles? Specifically, what is up his sleeve to stop the "tush push"?

My predictions:

Chiefs 37 (4-TDs  one by the defense or special teams,  3-FGs)

Eagles  27 (3-TDs  2-FGs)

For the Swifties who will be watching, no, Kelce will not propose to Taylor on the field after the game.  It will happen within 60 days of the game.

Trump is Winning, and In Less Than Two Weeks

 The naysayers and those that still attempt to vilify President Trump still haven't learned the realities of what positive actions he is capable of.

He threatened to take back the Panama Canal.  Hmm, it didn't take long for the President of Panama to reverse his country's stand regarding the Chinese actions on the canal.  The result will be substantially reduce costs to our shipping (commercial and military) that needs to traverse the canal.  Remember, we built that baby at a considerable cost not just in dollars but in lives.

When Colombia refused to let planes returning illegal migrants to their homeland land, Trump put it to them.  What happened?  They are now assisting in transporting those illegals back to Colombia.

The naysayers said that Trump was wrong for threatening Mexico with increased tariffs.  Whoops, what happened?  The President of Mexico has now committed to sending 10,000 Mexican troops to their side of the border to assist in controlling illegal migrants and to put some heavy controls on the exportation of Fentanyl into out country.  We have lost too many of our citizens to the illegal drug trade.

MAGA means America First.  We will see a rebounding economy, more homegrown manufacturing, and a reduction in wasteful spending.

Speaking of wasteful spending, the numbers now show that the City of Chicago alone has spent over $629 million dollars from 2022-2024 on illegal immigrants.  That is housing, food, clothing, medical care, schools, cash benefits, etc. etc. etc..  Yet, they don't have funds for their own citizens for these items.  And they want federal help. Where does the federal help come from?  From the citizens of this country who work and pay taxes, and who can't get help when needed.  That $629 million could have been better spent (and probably in a lower amount) to improve the life, health and welfare of the citizens of Chicago.  Now, just multiply that by all of the other "sanctuary" jurisdictions (NY, Calif., Washington State and others).

House minority leader Hakeem Jeffries has called his party and followers to fight Donald Trump "in the streets".  Gee, guess he really doesn't want to see this country become great again.

Trump has done more in two weeks to bring us back than Biden did in four years.  Actually, Biden has destroyed much of this country.

BTW, why do leaders of Mexico, Colombia, Panama and other countries listen to Trump and are willing to pay heed to what he says?  Because Trump has something that Joe Biden never had. A pair of metallic based lower anatomical spherical appendages.+

Hot news!!  Canada has now agreed to a $1.3 Billion plan to have its military, with additional helicopter, intelligence and tech support to assist on its side of the northern border.  They are committing to sending 10,000 of their troops to control illegal immigrants from crossing over and to perform interdiction with regards to drug and human trafficking.  And again, the naysayers and those suffering from TDS attempted to excoriate Trump for his statements.
