It has recently been brought to my atention that the parents of a long time City of Shawnee volunteer are experiencing health and financial problems. Her father is a WWII Vet (part of the "Greatest Generation). They will be married 74 years this year and are doing anything and everything possible to remain in the home that they have occupied for over 70 years.
